Ireland has a transport system that has become faster, cheaper and more efficient in recent times; as Kerry is one of the most important destinations in Ireland, is not an exception.

By air:

Kerry Airport is situated at Farranfore and operates flights to Dublin, the UK, and Germany. Shannon Airport and Cork Airport are major international airports, and are both within an hour of Kerry Airport

By train:

The Dublin / Tralee line serves Co. Kerry with stations at Killarney, Farranfore and Tralee.

By Bus:

Bus Éireann provide services to towns in County Kerry from Dublin, Cork and other counties.

By Sea:

Fenit harbour near Tralee is a regional harbour capable of handling ships of up to 17,000 tonnes. Large container cranes from Liebherrs in Killarney are regularly exported worldwide. A rail-link to the port was closed in the 1970s.
The harbour at Dingle is one of Ireland's secondary fishing ports. In the north of the county, a ferry service operates from Tarbert, to Killimer in County Clare.
